Senior Claims Adjuster - Marine Cargo & Specie

We are working with a Market Leading London insurer for a Senior Claims Adjuster – Marine (Cargo & Specie). Responsible for the proactive handling of claims within authority for Cargo and Specie Classes, you will be focused upon providing the consistent delivery of TRUSTed first class claims experience. The key, but not exclusive responsibilities of this role are: •Handling of claims arising from responsible line of business from FNOL through to settlement. •Ensuring all claims handling responsibilities adhere to procedures, controls and regulatory requirements. •Proactive monitoring of claims to ensure early ‘best estimate’ reserves are in place and valid claims are settled promptly. •Assist Claims Management to provide Claims thought leadership and ‘lead indicator’ insights. •Proactively achieve required claims team strategic objectives and participate in business modernisation to transform current claims proposition towards our vision for a TRUSTed, market-leading claims service proposition. The successful candidate will have: •Extensive experience in handling Marine, Cargo and / or Specie Claims. •Strong relationships with relevant experts, brokers and co-insurers •CII or similar professional qualifications, or willingness to work towards this.
