Working for a dynamic and fast growth insurance broker the role of Finance Business Partner will work with various business units within the specialty division to provide insight into financial performance, aid planning and forecasting, and deliver a strong reporting process.
Responsibilities:
• Work in close partnership with the Regional Director and Head of Finance of Specialty to provide accurate and comprehensive annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
• Conduct monthly review meetings with the Regional Director and other budget holders and to act as a key point of contact to support the business
• Monthly cost review to ensure costs are in line with budget with any deviations from plan reported and explained
• Provide monthly reporting to the Head of Finance and CEO of business performance against budget/forecast together with risks and opportunities for the remainder of the year
• Build strong relations and provide financial support to commercial decision making
• Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible
• Liaise with central finance
• Annual budgeting for Group central cost base as well as longer term planning (3 year)
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
• Aid Integration of newly acquired businesses
• Support process and reporting development
Experience:
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Insurance industry experience
• Commercial Finance experience working in a fast-paced growth environment (over 5 years)
• Budgeting and Planning experience as well as monthly reporting
