We are working with a leading general insurer for a Finance Business Partner (Retail). This role is primarily supporting the business in the overall provision of financial management, partnering with business units to perform business development. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: • To establish and ensure adherence to strong financial partnering and support in the business Unit. • To liaise and actively review performance of the business unit. Ensure robust, financial plans exist and review progress. • Ensure the profitable execution of new deals initiatives, products and activity within the business unit. • To lead, coach, and develop a team who provide financial support to the business unit by providing clear analysis and commentary on performance. • To provide financial perspective to support the Management team in the building, tracking and reporting of performance against revenue, profit and expenses targets. The ideal candidate will be: • A qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA). • A strong understanding of insurance • Experience in managing a team
