We are working with one of the World’s leading specialty insurers for a Solvency II Reporting Accountant. This is an exciting role well suited to individuals with Lloyd’s of London market experience with an accounting background. Main duties of the role include, but are not limited to: • Coordinating with stakeholders and preparing Solvency II deliverables for submission to the PRA and the CAA. • Preparing and providing insight into regulatory review packs, CFO performance reports and approval memorandums for presentation to senior management at regulatory committees. • Monitoring regulatory developments and advising the team and management on impact on regulatory reporting. • Assisting with the quarterly Solvency II Forecasting process including the review of inputs, assumptions and presentation of findings to senior team members. • Contributing to the wider finance and business change initiatives by identifying areas for improving and performing data quality checks and reconciling data. • Leading in the production of the SFCR for all entities including managing the SFCR timetable and external audit process. The successful candidate will ideally have the following attributes: • Fully qualified with a relevant accounting qualification. (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, ICAS, etc.) • Demonstratable experience within insurance sector. • Understanding of Insurance business and Solvency II regulations including application to capital requirements is essential.
