We are currently recruiting for a Senior Syndicate Accountant opportunity for a rapidly growing Global Fintech Insurance Broker. The successful candidate will be integrating Lloyd’s reporting into the companies reporting, supporting with the month-end, and will be having high visibility with the International management team. In the role you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to; Strategy and Planning: • Ensure that internal timetables are monitored and updated as and when tasks are completed. • Review instructions and proformas from Lloyd’s to ensure changes are notified. • Ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high degree of accuracy Policy, Process and Procedures: • Perform monthly accounting for Lloyd’s corporate member and the service company. • Work with a 3rd party service provider, to integrate, analyse and reconcile corporate member accounting and reporting. • Work with the Syndicate underwriter and operational team and perform analytical review of syndicate results. • Develop understanding of Lloyd’s reporting within international finance team The ideal candidate should have; • An accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.) • Experience within IFRS or UK GAAP. • Lloyd’s of London reporting experience essential.
