New opportunity with a global specialty lines (re)insurer, who are one of the leading insurers in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market. The successful candidate will be working within the Lloyd's Reporting team in producing the various Lloyd's returns for the companies Syndicate, including associated analysis for detailed review by management. Responsibilities & Accountabilities • Delivery of the quarterly and annual returns to Lloyd’s, including: production of regulatory reporting to Lloyds, SII reporting, overseas reporting and the year-end syndicate statutory accounts. • Preparing analysis and control documentation for any returns produced to facilitate efficient review and clear evidence of controls operated. • Liaising with the wider finance team and other departments to manage deliverables required to ensure reporting deadlines are met. • Maintaining a robust control environment ensuring that all results are reported accurately within prescribed deadlines. • Liaising with external audit in an effective manner, facilitating a timely and efficient audit process. • Work directly with other areas of the Finance team and wider business (Production, Group Finance, FP&A, Capital, Tax, and Reserving) to ensure good communication and understanding between teams. To be successful in this role, you will need to be/have: • Qualified accountant • Experience of Lloyd’s reporting • Advance Microsoft Excel skills • Good verbal and written communication skills
