Governance and Risk Manager opportunity working with a market leading Financial Services advisory firm. You will work on a variety of projects for financial services firms, including Skilled Person reviews (Section 166 Reviews), regulatory driven reviews and other internal control and assurance reviews.
Key responsibilities:
-Leading and delivering a portfolio of Governance, Risk Management and Conduct risk related assignments of high complexity and variety;
-Support Senior Managers, Directors and Partners with work by building excellent client relationships, assisting with the team’s strategy and driving market propositions;
-Contribute to development of new business relationships and business proposals through by identifying opportunities and informing Partners where appropriate;
-Identify and appropriately escalate, address and/or mitigate risks on client engagements;
-Responsible for the financial and commercial management of engagements.
Key Skills and Experience:
-Governance and Risk Management related experience working within a professional services, consulting or financial services firm or Regulator (FCA or PRA);
-Knowledge and experience of any of the following: Corporate Governance, Board Effectiveness, Credit Risk, Risk Management Frameworks, SMCR, Operational Resilience, Conduct Risk, D&I and Culture:
-Functional knowledge of the UK Financial Services regulatory environment (FCA and PRA).
