We are currently partnering with a market leading Lloyd’s syndicate to recruit an Enterprise Architect. Reporting into the CIO, the successful candidate will develop the Group’s technology strategy and play a leading role in determining how the Group’s Architecture is managed. Key Responsibilities; Stakeholder Management: • Understand the Group’s strategy and business requirements to devise architectural solutions. • Responsible for delivering on all architectural strategies and maturity roadmaps. Strategic Planning: • Develop and implement an architecture strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. • Define and drive the adoption of architectural principles, standards, and frameworks. Architectural Governance: • Establish and oversee architectural governance processes to ensure compliance. • Review and approve architectural designs and changes to existing architectures. Technology Leadership: • Lead the evaluation and selection of technology solutions and platforms that meet business needs. • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the enterprise. Solution Design: • Provide guidance and direction on the design and implementation of technology solutions. • Work with vendors, Change and development teams to ensure consistency and alignment with the overall architecture. Risk Management: • Identify and mitigate architectural risks that could impact the business. • Ensure that security and compliance requirements are integrated into the architecture. Innovation and Improvement: • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team. • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and systems through architectural advancements. Documentation and Communication: • Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation. • Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing across the organisation. The ideal candidate should have; • Experience working for a London Market insurer. • Proven experience in designing and managing architecture. • Strong understanding of architectural frameworks, design patterns, and best practices. • Expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
