We are currently partnering with a market leading Lloyd’s syndicate to recruit a Data & Reporting Manager. Reporting into the CIO, the successful candidate will lead a team to maximise data value, establish and embed data strategy and framework, and oversee data governance and reporting delivery, including self-service, while driving automation for improved efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities;
• Oversee the operation of a centre of excellence for reporting, including data analysis, dashboards, and data modelling.
• Ensure successful adoption of data solutions through change management and training, enabling self-service where appropriate.
• Manage the planning and delivery of Data-related activities within the Group’s Change Portfolio.
• Oversee the Data Quality Framework, ensuring successful implementation and performance reporting.
• Deliver internal and regulatory reporting on schedule, obtaining required business sign-offs.
• Coordinate with IT on the development and management of data capabilities to support business decisions.
• Drive improvements in data quality through metrics and dashboards, ensuring alignment with data strategy.
• Manage Data Governance, quality standards, and troubleshooting of data issues, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate should have;
• Experience in the insurance industry, preferably within the Lloyd's Insurance market.
• Proven senior-level experience, including team management and leadership.
• Expertise in data analysis and process automation with large, complex datasets across teams.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), including data comparison and transformation.
• Experience in delivering technical projects (e.g., systems development, data warehousing, BI, and data migration) and driving strategic data improvements from concep
